What is SoleScout?
SoleScout is a price-comparison engine for sneakers, apparel, bags and accessories. It indexes 1,807,644 live retailer listings from thousands of stores and shows which shops currently stock a given style, what each charges, and which sizes — US shoe sizes, or XS through 4XL on apparel — are in stock. SoleScout does not sell anything — every purchase happens on the retailer's own site.
How is this different from GOAT or StockX?
GOAT and StockX are marketplaces: you buy from them. SoleScout is a search layer across everyone — GOAT included, plus Foot Locker, JD Sports, Stadium Goods, Shoe Palace, Dick's, Farfetch and thousands of independent boutiques — so you can see whether a shoe is still available at retail before paying resale.
Are the prices live?
Listings are rebuilt continuously from each retailer's own storefront rather than a syndicated feed, so the price and the in-stock sizes match what the store is showing. Prices still move daily — confirm on the retailer's page before buying.
Is SoleScout free?
Yes. Browsing, searching and every store's price are free, and a free account includes three unlocks a day for the hidden retailers. Paid plans reveal all of them and lift the daily cap.
